With the heat arriving in HRM Tuesday Jul 15 through Thursday July 17 a heat warning is in effect (https://weather.gc.ca/en/location/index.html?coords=44.649,-63.602)
League geames will proceed with modified game formats for Jul 15-17, 2025
- For all categories except U17 COED
- 12 minute periods, run-time with mandatory 2 minute breaks between periods
- U17 COED - 15 min run time
- Final 3 minutes of 3rd period will be stop time
- Water breaks for goalies each period at ½ way point
Please Note - certain venues may have their own hot weather policies that will take precedence over MMLL policies
